FRUIT SELECTION

From the farm, our fruit is carefully selected and picked at optimal ripeness in regions with climates and soil better suited to their growing requirements. We build long-term partnerships with our growers, and hand in hand we aim to grow premium varieties and identify which market trends they should target. We work in lockstep with our partners and remain attentive to their expertise because we understand the unpredictability of nature.

Once they arrive at our facilities, the fruit is inspected by our team of fruit experts to ensure compliance with various specifications.

The moment fruit flows through our facilities is key, and the process should be handled in a short time frame. Because fruits are fragile with changing characteristics, they should be quickly sorted, packaged, shipped, or frozen or processed. This just-in-time production flow means our teams have to work quickly, making every effort to meet customer demands on a daily basis.

TRAÇABILITY : COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY

Each stage of the fruit is rigorously recorded thanks to an ID number indicated on the product used for traceability. This tells us the fruit origin and its grower, as well as the dates when it was received, processed, packaged and shipped.

SIMPLE RECIPES

The R&D team continually works to improve recipes and processes in order to offer natural products that retain all their fresh fruit characteristics. FRUITS ROUGES & Co. recipes for fruit purees and coulis never contain any flavourings, colourants, preservatives or thickeners. They are made with delicious fruit picked at optimal ripeness and sugar from sugar beet depending on the recipe.
Since FRUITS ROUGES & Co. production facilities are situated in Laon in the region of Hauts-de-France, it is only natural to use sugar from the local sugar beet production.
